Job summary

USAging seeks a Program Associate to support the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA). The role involves developing materials such as newsletters, research papers, and blog posts, and conducting literature reviews to synthesize findings.

You will help maintain partner communications, support online peer platforms, and assist with planning trainings, webinars, and events, ensuring smooth use of relevant technology. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, with one to two years of relevant professional experience preferred
• Quantitative and data analysis skills a plus; ability to present data effectively using graphs, charts and other formats
• Familiarity with social media, newsletter, blog and website platforms
• Experience with email platforms (Constant Contact or similar), survey tools (Survey Monkey), and webinar/communications platforms preferred
• Experience with website maintenance platforms is preferred

Program Associate, National Resource Center for Nutrition and Aging

USAging is seeking applications for a Program Associate to support the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA).

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with the development and preparation of materials, newsletter articles, research papers, PowerPoint presentations, blog posts, social media posts, website content and other written products.
• Conduct program research, including literature reviews and other research, and synthesize findings.
• Help maintain ongoing communications with partners and members and support administration of an online peer communication platform.
• Assist with planning and execution of training and events, peer-to-peer sessions and webinars, taking responsibility for the effective use of support technology.
• Provide administrative support for the team by scheduling team meetings, partner meetings, grantee meetings and responding to correspondence.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, with one to two years of relevant professional experience preferred, including experience working to support team functions
• Quantitative and data analysis skills a plus; ability to present data effectively using graphs, charts and other formats
• Familiarity with social media, newsletter, blog and website platforms
• Experience with Constant Contact or other email platforms, Survey Monkey or other survey platforms, and webinar/communications broadcast platforms is preferred
• Experience with website maintenance platforms is preferred
