Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Program Associate to join our Chicago, IL team to provide essential administrative support for residential energy efficiency programs across the Midwest. You will help assess project eligibility, track milestones, and process project data using RI’s systems and procedures.

You will also support new initiatives, lead customer and contractor communications when needed, and assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and other internal projects as required,

Qualifications

• Located in Northern IL area or willing to relocate within 30 days.
• BS or BA or 2+ years of relevant work experience in customer service, energy efficiency or administrative support.
• Self-motivated and highly organized; ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Results-driven; able to collaborate across all levels of an organization.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote and Teams and Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Interest in sustainability and making a meaningful environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Respond to program participants, contractors, and clients professionally and promptly.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for internal and external purposes.
• Support outreach to program customers, contractors, and community organizations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Planning, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Participate in team meetings to provide updates and address action items.
• Manage data and use database systems to track project details, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to internal and system protocols using RI systems, documents, and tools.
• Assist program teams in collecting missing data.
• Identify and escalate issues as appropriate and recommend strategies to address issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description Resource Innovations is seeking a Program Associate to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. As a Program Associate with Resource Innovations, you will provide vital administrative support for several residential energy efficiency programs across the Midwest. You will perform a range of tasks to support the programs in achieving energy savings goals using program systems and procedures to assess project eligibility, track and report project milestones, and process project data. The Program Associate will also support new initiatives, lead customer and contractor communications when needed, and assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and other internal projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately responds to requests and inquiries from program participants, contractors, and clients in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer and client service.
• Prepares weekly and monthly reports for internal and external purposes, ensuring compliance with terms of contract, relevance of content, and professional presentation.
• Support outreach efforts to program customers, contractors, and community-based organizations as needed.
• Coordinates with internal support and cross functional teams including Operations, Planning, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Participates in team meetings to provide updates and address action items.
• Manages data and uses database system(s) to track project details, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensures adherence to internal and system protocols using RI systems, documents, and tools.
• Complies and reviews project documentation, ensuring data integrity and quality control of systems and processes.
• Assists program teams in collecting missing data.
• Identifies and escalates issues as appropriate and recommends strategies to address issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be located in the Northern, IL area or willing to relocate within 30 days of acceptance
• BS or BA or 2+ years of relevant work experience in customer service, energy efficiency or administrative support roles
• Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Results-driven and able to collaborate across all levels of an organization to deliver on commitments and meet objectives
• Experience with various Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, OneNote and Teams) and Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with clients, the public, and all levels of internal employees
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Self-motivation and exceptional follow-through skills are a must
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is:$40,000.00-$80,000.00 In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
