Job summary

Vital Voices Global Partnership in Washington, DC, is hiring a Program Assistant to support the WomenLeaders India Fellowship, an entry-level role providing logistical and communications support for a flagship program advancing women's leadership in India. The role reports to the Manager of Leadership and Social Impact and requires hybrid work with two in-office days per week.

This position is contingent on funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international relations, development, gender studies, or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of administrative, programmatic, or event support experience
• Genuine interest in global women's issues or international development
• Strong MS Office skills; Salesforce experience a plus
• Experience with India or South Asia programs preferred
• Hindi or other Indian language skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Program logistics — provide administrative support for WLI Fellowship activities.
• Travel and event coordination including travel, accommodations, and venue support.
• Participant communications — respond to inquiries and coordinate follow-ups.
• Recruitment support — assist with applications tracking and cohort documentation.
• Data management — update Salesforce and Airtable and track participation.
• Communications — draft program materials, social media inputs, and storytelling content.
