View Point Health provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, and adults, promoting overall health and quality of life through evidence-based therapies and medication management to address mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use.
The Program Assistant acts as the administrative liaison for a multi-faceted program, serving as the primary contact for staff, clients, and visitors, and supporting administrative operations, including patient flow, data management, and client registration.
Responsibilities include managing patient appointments, verifying authorizations, maintaining records, and ensuring confidentiality. The role involves answering calls, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and supporting office operations.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two years of office or administrative experience. Preferred qualifications encompass experience in a medical/mental health setting, familiarity with electronic health records, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional requirements include the ability to lift 20 pounds, long periods of sitting/standing, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and passing background and drug screening checks.
