• This candidate must be a team player who enjoys working with school-aged students, and has good classroom management skills.

• Associate degree preferred.

Job Description

The Winooski School District is seeking a Program Assistant to work with special educators and students with emotional disabilities in our elementary alternative program. This program provides emotional, behavioral, and academic support to students Grades 2 - 5th. Responsibilities will include providing therapeutic and academic support to students regarding emotional regulation, academics, and social skills. The district will provide training in therapeutic crisis intervention. Previous experience is a plus.

• Regular ongoing collaboration with special educators, clinical teams, and outside providers.
