Job summary

An established industry player is seeking passionate individuals to join their team for a full-time seasonal internship. This opportunity spans from May 19th to August 15th, 2025, focusing on the Family Caregiver Support and Senior Nutrition Programs. Interns will gain invaluable experience while conducting quality assurance calls, performing best-practice research, and developing a Quality Assurance Tool Kit. This is a full-time seasonal position that begins May 19th, 2025, and will run through August 15th, 2025.

Join the SCDOA team for an exciting summer internship with the SCDOA’s Family Caregiver Support Program and Senior Nutrition Program. Gain real-life experience in a professional and field setting that will make your resume standout.

  • Conduct quality assurance calls to persons receiving services funded by the OAA and state funds.
  • Conduct best-practice research to help determine unmet needs and gaps in service in X programs.
  • Create a Quality Assurance Tool Kit with the guidance of Program Managers.
  • Produce professional reports with guidance of Program Managers.
  • Perform other duties as required. (phone duty)
  • This internship does not require night or weekend work.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Individuals must be 18 years of age or older by May 19, 2025.
  • Able to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment and encourage positive working relationships with coworkers, industry, and government officials.

• Familiar with all standard office equipment (phones, copier, scanners).
