Job summary

Community LIFE seeks compassionate aides to assist elderly participants with daily living activities and personal care in our Mon Valley Adult Day Center. You will support recreational activities and provide care in the center or at participants’ homes as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid PA driver's license with a reliable vehicle, and caregiving experience is preferred. Join a team that values empathy, discretion, and patient, respectful care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly participants with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Support recreational activities and participate in program activities.
• Provide care in Adult Day Center or at participants’ residences as needed.
• Maintain records and report changes to supervision.

Schedule

Mon.-Fri., 7:30am-4pm; plus 8 weekend hours per month

Salary

$15.50 and up per hour (more based on verifiable caregiving experience) DAILY PAY AVAILABLE!!

Summary

Aides are responsible for providing assistance to elderly participants with activities of daily living, recreational activities and performing personal care services in our Adult Day Center and, as needed, their place of residence.

Required Education

High school diploma or GED

Required Licensure

Valid PA Driver's license and reliable vehicle

Required Experience

Caregiving experience is preferred.

• Discretion, tact, patience, and good judgment.
• Empathetic and compassionate attitude in caring for the elderly.
• Ability to understand and carry out non-technical verbal and written directions, record messages, and keep records.
• Ability to get along well with others and gain the cooperation of the participants.
