Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a 2nd shift program supervisor to uphold our rehabilitation program’s standards and integrity. You will help manage beneficiary processes, run orientations, and oversee medication calls while ensuring safe and compliant operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, documenting incidents, and supporting center policies. A high school diploma and managerial experience preferred, with driving eligibility for Salvation Army coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous managerial experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with ability to qualify for Salvation Army insurance.

Responsibilities

• Enforce house rules and maintain center security.
• Conduct beneficiary orientations and facility tours.
• Lead weekly house meetings.
• Supervise medication calls and document properly.
• Respond to beneficiary inquiries and emergencies.
• Complete incident reports and Safe From Harm documentation.
• Implement leisure time activities and provide safe transportation.
• Assist in resolving beneficiary problems and supervise work therapy.
• Assess and refer spiritual needs to Chaplain/Administrator.
• Administer drug and alcohol screening tests as required.
• Maintain daily reports and electronic data entries.
• Document program violations and incidents.
• Support center policies and monitor program compliance.

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. Working on 2nd shift, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity, philosophy, and standards of our effective rehabilitation program. This role is crucial in ensuring program compliance while supporting our beneficiaries' recovery journey.

What You’ll Do

What You Need

Required

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous managerial experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License with ability to qualify for Salvation Army insurance
