Job summary

Princeton Theological Seminary is seeking a Director of Programs to design and oversee ongoing educational offerings for external learners and the public. This role focuses on preaching, theology, and ministry, overseeing vendors, staff, and budgets while coordinating with campus partners.

The position requires theological education, an MDiv (ATS preferred), and leadership experience in ministry or a related institution.

Qualifications

• Theological education (courses, programs, or a degree) required.
• Master of Divinity Degree from an ATS Seminary or Divinity School preferred.
• Ordination preferred.
• Experience leading roles in a congregation or other institution is required (3+ years).
• Experience with program management and operations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of certificates, digital courses, and events for external audiences.
• Oversee program vendors, budgets, and staff in Continuing Education.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote programs and initiatives.
• Supervise student and part-time staff and manage onboarding and performance.
• Represent Princeton Theological Seminary on committees and with external partners.
