Program and Project Management Specialist

The Opportunity: As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the Navy’s Mission Systems. You’ll work with Assistant Program Managers to prepare acquisition documents while monitoring other aspects of cost, schedule, and performance. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Office and Power BI tools, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, or project analysts. This project will benefit from your experience as a program manager to deliver briefing material and other reporting with your eye for high quality and impactful content. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoW clients
• 3+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoW Program Management Offices
• 3+ years of experience managing a spend plan
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR)
• Experience with Planning, Programing, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
• Knowledge of DoD Adaptive Acquisition framework or DoD Instruction DoD 5000.02
• Ability to grasp technical concepts related to electronic warfare, information warfare, and signals intelligence
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience writing DoD Acquisition documentation
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Project Management Professional, Agile, or SAFe Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
