Job summary

Tekla Research, Inc. in Lexington Park, MD is seeking a senior test and evaluation leader to support naval programs. Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active Secret clearance. Education can substitute for experience under policy.

Responsibilities include planning and tracking test activities with iTEMS (iTrack/iTest), producing metrics, coordinating the Test Data Management group, and preparing briefing materials for leadership. Requires 10+ years of relevant experience and MS Office familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of experience in test and evaluation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications is required.
• Navy acquisition and test experience is desired.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilize iTEMS, including iTrack and iTest, to support test planning and execution tracking.
• Produce and maintain test execution metrics and status reports for leadership decisions.
• Use Microsoft Project to track schedules, milestones, and task progress.
• Coordinate and administer the Test Data Management Working Group, including quarterly meetings.
• Track test items (aircraft, test plans, flight clearances).
• Prepare slide decks, briefing materials, and memos; ensure conference room readiness and VTC.
• Attend IPT, test schedule, PDRs, CDRs when necessary.
• Track test assets and lab status.
• Develop briefs and metrics as required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Clearance Required: Active Secret
Education: A bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of work experience, a master's degree may be substituted for an additional 2 years

Responsibilities

• Utilize Integrated Test and Evaluation Management Systems (iTEMS), including iTrack and iTest, to support test planning and execution tracking.
• Produce and maintain test execution metrics and status reports to support program leadership and decision-making.
• Use Microsoft Project to track schedules, milestones, and task progress related to test activities.
• Coordinate and administer the Test Data Management Working Group, including scheduling and facilitating quarterly meetings.
• Track items for test (aircraft, test plans, flight clearances)
• Coordinate recurring and ad hoc meetings, including preparation of slide decks, briefing materials, and memos; ensure conference room readiness and VTC functionality.
• Attend all required meetings such as IPT, test schedule, PDRs, CDRs when necessary
• Tracking of test assets and lab status
• Develop and build briefs and metrics as required.

Salary

The projected salary range for this position is $110,000- $135,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
