Job summary

SAIC seeks a highly skilled Collection Requirements Manager to develop, coordinate, and manage all-source intelligence collection requirements across disciplines at the McLean, VA site.

You will coordinate with sponsors to define scope, submit and track collection requests, monitor progress, and support interagency collaboration. Travel is required twice yearly; active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience; Master’s 8+ years; PhD or JD 5+ years.
  • Travel: two trips annually, 2–4 days each.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of the IC collection requirements process across all disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define collection requirements with the Sponsor.
  • Understand characteristics and formats of intelligence products from existing collection systems.
  • Develop and submit collection requests per SOP and IC best practices.
  • Monitor submitted requests and coordinate completion with collection entities.
  • Coordinate with interagency groups to advance organizational objectives.

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled professional to serve as a Collection Requirements Manager for multiple intelligence collection disciplines. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills to develop, coordinate, and manage comprehensive intelligence collection requirements. This role involves utilizing appropriate Intelligence Community (IC) collection tasking systems to support analytic and operational objectives. The position supports the development and execution of all-source collection requirements across the enterprise to meet mission-critical needs.

Positions are contingent pending contract award

This position will be in McLean, VA.

Travel: Requires two trips annually, each lasting between 2 to 4 days.

  • Identify and Understand Collection Requirements:
    • The candidate shall coordinate with the Sponsor to thoroughly define the scope of requirements for relevant intelligence products.
  • Identify and Understand Relevant Intelligence Products:
    • The candidate will work closely with the Sponsor to gain a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics, capabilities, limitations, and formats of intelligence products generated by existing collection systems.
  • Development and Submission of Collection Requests:
    • The candidate will submit and coordinate the Sponsor’s collect requests in alignment with IC best practices and ensure all task are completed in accordance with the applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Monitoring and Management of Submitted Collection Requests:
    • The candidate will oversee and track the progress of collection requests, ensuring they are completed by the appropriate collection entities to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Customer and Account Management:
    • The candidate will coordinate the fulfillment of customer requirements related to data and the administration of assigned collection requirement systems accounts.
  • Interagency Collaboration and Coordination on Collection Requirements:
    • The candidate will collaborate with national-level collection requirements management groups and personnel to advance organizational objectives.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:
    • TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; master’s and eight (8) years or more experience; PHD or JD and Five (5) years or more experience
  • Travel: Requires two trips annually, each lasting between 2 to 4 days.
  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the full Intelligence Community (IC) collection requirements process, enabling the execution of collection requirement actions across all intelligence disciplines to ensure timely and relevant intelligence collection aligned with the Sponsor's mission needs.
Clearance Requirement
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
