Job summary

ITC Defense in Lexington Park, MD is seeking a Junior Program Analyst to support DoD program analysis activities, reporting, research, and administrative tasks under supervision. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to work onsite in Lexington Park.

You’ll assist with monitoring milestones, preparing reports, and coordinating with the program team while growing in a DoD program environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret or Interim Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related experience in DoD/PM domains; OR 6+ years of experience in lieu of degree; OR Associate’s degree with 4+ years related experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Lexington Park, MD.

Position: Program Analyst, Junior

Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Program Analyst, Junior to support program analysis activities within a DoD program environment. The role provides foundational support for program monitoring, reporting, research, and administrative activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior personnel with program analysis activities under appropriate oversight.
• Conduct research on topics relevant to program objectives and reporting requirements.
• Prepare, coordinate, and maintain program reports and documentation.
• Assist with program monitoring systems used to track milestones, actions, and program activities.
• Track corrective actions and milestone accomplishments and maintain appropriate status information.
• Support communication and data coordination within the program team.
• Assist with routine program administration and coordination activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and more than three (3) years of related work experience in FMS, logistics, program management, technical analysis, business analysis, acquisition, life-cycle management, or a related field; OR
• Six (6) or more years of related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree; OR
• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) or more years of additional related work experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Lexington Park, MD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Navy, NAVAIR, PMA, or other DoD program offices.
• Experience with program tracking, reporting, or action-item management.
• Experience coordinating with program stakeholders and supporting cross-functional communication.
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition or life-cycle management processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Maryland, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 annually.
