Job summary

AM Pierce & Associates is seeking a Program Analyst (Journeyman/Senior) to support PMA-231, the E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office, located at Patuxent River, MD. The role is on-site and involves managing funding, procurement for the GSA, and delivering financial insights to leadership.

Ideal candidates will have an active DoD Secret clearance (TS possible), a finance or accounting degree, and 5–10+ years of program analysis experience. Travel is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required, ability to obtain TS.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• Journeyman level: 5+ years performing duties for this position.
• Senior level: 10+ years performing duties for this position.
• Familiarization with CSPT, PMT, and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with funding and procurement management for the GSA.
• Provide reports, data calls, and attend meetings as required.
• Analyze financial data, funding statements, and expenditure reports.
• Prepare reports and projections based on financial data.
• Forecast project future expenditures.
• Monitor budgets and compare actual performance against targets.
• Prepare charts and presentations to guide financial decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with leadership.
• Develop briefing slides and deliver status updates to PMA.

The Position:

We are looking for a candidate who will be performing the role of a Program Analyst (Journeyman/Senior), supporting PMA-231, the E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 – $140,000 annually, based upon an individual's level of experience, skillset, and education. The Description:

• Assist with the management and execution of funding and procurement for the GSA.
• Provide reports, data calls, and attend meetings as required.
• Analyze financial data, funding statements, and expenditure reports.
• Prepare reports and projections based on financial data.
• Forecast project future expenditures.
• Monitor budgets and compare actual performance against targets.
• Prepare clear reports, charts, and presentations to guide financial decisions.
• Ability to perform programmatic analysis (planning, scheduling, workload analysis, risk analysis).
• Ability to work with project schedules, track tasking, and provide status to leadership and the PMA.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills, including ability to develop and present briefing slides.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in finance, or accounting (desired).
• Journeyman Level: At least five (5) years of experience performing the functional duties for this position.
• Senior Level: At least ten (10) years of experience performing the functional duties for this position.
• Familiarization with CSPT, PMT, and ERP.

Travel:

• On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
