As a Program Analyst focused on Data and Analytics, you will contribute to the Department of State (DoS) Political-Military Affairs Bureau’s analytical mission by developing dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level reporting products that translate complex program and performance information into actionable insights. Your work will involve analyzing trends in programmatic, operational, and policy-related data; preparing concise analytical narratives; and ensuring that findings are accessible and aligned to leadership priorities. You will coordinate with program managers, subject-matter experts, and data stewards to refine requirements, validate metrics, and maintain data quality. Additionally, you will play a key role in advancing data literacy and promoting analytic best practices across the organization by supporting training, documentation, and guidance for stakeholders working with data products.
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
