The ideal candidate will hold a related degree with DoD experience and a Secret clearance, and will demonstrate strong MS Office, SharePoint, and collaboration skills across internal and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with 3+ years DoD experience or 7+ years directly related experience with certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Acquisition Sustainment Reviews, Congressional inquiries, and Crisis Action Team activities.
  • Perform Action Officer duties: prepare briefings, coordinate analysis, and develop recommended courses of action for leadership guidance.
  • Respond quickly to taskers by identifying problems, analyzing issues, and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Assist with RSO workflow, manning, and screening.
  • Support management of assigned programs and interactions with external agencies as required.
  • Prepare and review correspondence, briefs, schedules, and materials for internal/external briefings.

Position Summary

Credence has an immediate opening for a Program Analyst who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFLCMC/RSO at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

RSO’s mission is to advance the SECAF’s direction and “…leverage mature, new, and emerging technology to reduce sustainment costs and improve readiness…” The RSO will play a role in sustainment analogous to a research laboratory in development. Its customer base, the logistics and sustainment enterprises, should come to view RSO as their center of excellence for identifying, maturing, and transitioning technologies with traceable and measurable readiness impacts, cost reductions, and ease of use.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:
  • Provide support for Acquisition Sustainment Reviews, Congressional inquiries, and Crisis Action Team (CAT) activities.
  • Perform Action Officer duties, including preparing briefings; developing, coordinating, and completing required analysis on suspense responses; and formulating recommended courses of action for leadership guidance and decisions using the suspense tracking system and SharePoint task tracker.
  • Respond to taskers rapidly with an all-encompassing approach by identifying problems, analyzing issues, developing courses of action, and making recommendations suitable for the general officer level.
  • Assist with manning and screening the RSO workflow.
  • Provide support for the overall management of assigned programs and efforts, including interaction with lateral organizations and external agencies as required.
  • Support Government requirements for internal and external briefings and reports by assisting with preparation, scheduling, coordination of materials, and preparation and review of correspondence.
  • Produce letters, reports, spreadsheets, database reports, and graphs using standard USAF office automation software programs.
  • Assist the RSO Operations suspense and tracking team, including suspense tracking, review of the RSO OPS electronic workflow mailbox, coordination of responses with appropriate two-letter directorates, and assignment of OPS action officers to tasks.
  • Prepare weekly status briefings of late and upcoming suspense’s for OPS Chief review at the OPS Staff Meeting.
  • Assist with closure and packaging of suspense’s.
  • Train RSO OPS and two-letter action officers on the suspense tracking system and answer technical and process-related questions.
  • Provide direct support to quickly and accurately turn data into usable and actionable outputs and communicate information to AFLCMC senior leaders.
  • Research, create, assign, track, and communicate with higher headquarters and directorate-level offices as required.
  • Assist in updating and retrieving information in the center MS SharePoint document library.
  • Compile, format, and store directorate-level inputs to taskings in support of center responses.
  • Utilize NIPRNet and SIPRNet electronic mail to request and compile responses and transmit approved responses to specified higher headquarters or Congressional inquiries.
  • Assist in managing and tracking civilian and military decoration programs for the center, including coordination with the center Directorate of Personnel awards monitor to track awards packages.
  • Must have at least a secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, seven (7) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
  • Independently demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams; Adobe Acrobat; and Air Force-approved web access applications, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Firefox. May be required to learn other commercial or specialized computer applications as specified in the PWS.
