Job summary

US Military Treatment Facilities under DHA, located at JBPHH-Hickam on Hickam AFB in Hawaii, is seeking candidates for a Direct Hire GS-11 position within the 15th Medical Group. US citizens only apply; education or specialized experience as described below is required.

Specialized experience includes gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources to identify and resolve reconciliation issues, or a Ph.D./3 years of high-level graduate education in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience which includes identifying, analyzing, and resolving reconciliation problems across operational areas by gathering and interpreting operational data from multiple sources, utilizing qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to formulate recommendations for improvements and resolutions to issues or problems.
• Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management.
• Combination of Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified in the table, and may be computed by first determining the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level.
• Time in Grade Requirement for GS-11: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).

Education

Specialized Experience (GS-11)
