Founded in 1985, MHP is now a 70+ employee organization that has delivered $6.5 billion in below-market financing for affordable housing and currently has $1.2 billion in assets under management.

Every action MHP takes, whether it’s a loan, grant, professional assistance, or development of state or local policy, has the underlying goal of expanding housing opportunities for Massachusetts residents.

Current Opportunity: MHP is seeking a Program Analyst who will focus on data, systems, reporting, and communications within MHP’s Homeownership team. This role serves as a bridge between technical analysis, program operations, and communications. The Program Analyst supports Power BI reporting, data quality review, systems troubleshooting, financial reconciliation, and cross-functional coordination with Homeownership staff, Finance, IT, and Policy and Communications. The role also helps turn program data into accessible reports, presentations, impact summaries, and public-facing materials that support decision-making, program accountability, and clear communication of MHP’s Homeownership work.

At MHP, engagement, inclusion, and belonging are integral to our culture. We value individuals who embrace diverse perspectives, build inclusive relationships, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive workplace.

  • Analyze program and portfolio data to evaluate performance and outcomes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Canva.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for internal and external audiences.
  • Utilize Microsoft Copilot and approved AI tools to support analysis, reporting, presentations, and communications while ensuring compliance with MHP’s AI and data governance standards.

Data Management and Integrity: Ensure program and financial data is accurate, reliable, and well-documented across systems.

  • Maintain high-quality datasets and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Identify and resolve data gaps, discrepancies, and reporting issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, report logic, SOPs, and system workflows.
  • Monitor adherence to data standards and elevate issues when necessary.

Systems Operations and Maintenance: Support the effective operation and continuous improvement of core business systems.

  • Support day-to-day system operations and user needs.
  • Coordinate with developers on system updates, configuration changes, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Track and monitor system-related projects, enhancements, and support requests.

Communications: Partner with internal teams to communicate program impact and performance.

  • Collaborate with the Policy & Communications team to support Homeownership communications strategies.
  • Assist in developing reports, impact summaries, presentations, and external-facing materials.
  • Translate technical and program data into clear, accessible messaging.

Financial Data and Reconciliation: Support the integrity and alignment of program financial information.

  • Track and reconcile program financial data across systems.
  • Ensure financial reporting is aligned with program activity and outcomes.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate with Finance and program staff to resolve issues.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a key resource connecting teams, systems, and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate requests, deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Provide data, reporting, and operational support to stakeholders.
