Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Program Aide in Hummelstown, PA to provide direct care and support with activities of daily living for individuals with IDD. The role includes assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, life skills, and transportation under supervision.

We offer DailyPay, flexible schedules, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for training and career development. Shifts are 1st shift Monday to Friday, with pay of $17 per hour, and an Enhanced Pay option at $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current, valid Driver’s License required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; good organizational abilities.
• 6 months experience with individuals with IDD.
• Community Participation Certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with ADLs.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support and transportation assistance.
• Promote health, safety and well-being; assist with medication as trained.
