Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Hummelstown, PA, who will provide essential care and support to individuals with daily living activities. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, hygiene, and life skills development, as well as promoting health and safety. Candidates must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license, and preferably hold a High School diploma or G.E.D.

This role offers a pay rate starting at $17/hr, with an optional Enhanced Pay rate of $19/hr, along with a variety of benefits including health care, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement. Join us in making a difference!

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Related experience is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support and transportation assistance.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
