Job summary

Lewis Clark Early Childhood Program in Idaho seeks a caring Program Aide to support daily classroom activities, help with meals, and assist teachers. You will be part of a team that fosters exploration, learning through play, and healthy meals for children.

Hours vary by location and can be part-time to full-time. Wage depends on experience; full dental and health benefits after 90 days if working over 30 hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings.
• Willing to pursue additional education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and families with a smile and a positive attitude.
• Serve breakfast/snack and lunch – including picking up meals from the kitchen.
• Clean the meal areas after meals and maintain a clean classroom.
• Under direction from the teacher, participate in play activities.

Program Aide

So much fun stuff happens in our classrooms every day! Everyday children are guided through exploration and learning activities, they are provided with healthy meals and snacks and they are encouraged to learn through play. LCECP is seeking a caring person, who enjoys working with children for our Program Aide.

Position Summary

Our Program Aide serve a valuable role at LCECP, by supporting all the fun, learning and growing that happens in the classroom. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a team and making a difference in children's lives. We are looking for a caring person, who enjoys a fast-paced job.

The Program Aide will be responsible for:

• Greeting children and families with a smile and a positive attitude
