Job summary

Grace Lutheran Communities is seeking a dedicated Program Aide for our Adult Day Services. This part-time AM role starts at $15.00–$17.00 per hour based on experience, with no weekends or evenings required.

You will support activity planning, assist with 1:1 and group activities, escort participants, and help with personal care tasks under supervision. Join a warm, community-focused team where meaningful work and compassionate service are valued.

Qualifications

• Assist with activity planning and scheduling as needed.
• Utilize interpersonal skills to meet participant needs in 1:1 or group settings.
• Escort participants to and from activities and assist with duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide input and assistance with activity planning and scheduling; maintain flexibility to make unscheduled activity and assignment changes
• Conduct and/or assist with daily program tasks and assigned 1:1 and group activities utilizing interpersonal skills to meet participant needs
• Escort participants to and from activities
• Assist other staff members by engaging the 1:1 participant in appropriate activities and with duties such as personal cares, tidying up, or interaction with others
• Assist participants with personal cares including restroom, pericare, showers, incontinence products, transferring
• Assist participants with medication administration under supervision of Wellness nurse
• Prepare and/or serve meals and snacks daily and assist with dining needs
• Clean and sanitize dishes and dining areas after meals and clean common areas and restrooms
• Clean and sanitize equipment and supplies after activities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
