Harvard Law School is seeking a Program Administrator to support a 12-person staff and a 40+ student clinical program. The PA handles financial responsibilities, administrative duties, and serves as faculty assistant to the Directors.
Responsibilities include managing funds, budgeting, teaching support, translating, supervising interns, preparing reports, coordinating workflows, and maintaining the case-management system. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

The Program Administrator (PA) is an essential part of this 12-person staff and 40+ student academically based clinical program at Harvard Law School. The PA performs a wide range of financial responsibilities and carries out administrative, supervisory, and support duties while upholding the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau’s tradition of student governance in the daily operations of the program. The position reports to the Administrative Director and serves as the faculty assistant to the Faculty Directors.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration, including project or program management.
Full-time. Evening and weekend hours are periodically required to meet student or client needs.

This position has been determined by school or unit leaders that some of the duties and responsibilities can be effectively performed at a non-Harvard location. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University’s Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
