American Society of Clinical Oncology, Inc. (ASCO) is seeking a Program Administrator for Certification Programs to support our worldwide oncology practices. The role balances operations, customer service, project coordination, and data analysis to improve the certification process and the customer experience.
The position is hybrid with a primary location at our Alexandria, VA headquarters, and the hire must reside within 75 miles of the location. 3–4 years of related experience preferred.

ASCO is in search of a Program Administrator, Certification Programs to join our Care Delivery team. The Program Administrator, Certification Programs will help administrator ASCO’s globally recognized Certification Programs, supporting oncology practices across the world. The successful hire will serve as a trusted resource for customers, manage program operations, analyze data, coordinate outreach efforts, and drive process improvements that enhance the customer experience. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience 3 – 4 years related professional experience in operations support, administrative coordination, credentialing, or healthcare support Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook) and an openness to embracing and learning new technology Prior experience providing excellent customer service and the ability to show a high level of attention to detail Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Program Management Professional (PMP) Experience in credentialing, or provider data management Excellent communication skills, including written, with ability to clearly convey and receive information Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi‑task Customer oriented with ability to anticipate customer needs Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to conduct root cause analysis, and proactive and solution‑based thinking Ability to improve workflow for programs and/or systems Ability to initiate and execute work independently or with minimal direction Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Extended periods seated or standing at a computer High usage of office technology equipment Travel 1-5 days/yr
This is a non‑exempt position based upon 37.5 hours per week. The hourly rate range for this position is $35.74 - $43.33. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum annualized salary ASCO expects to provide for a new hire for the position across the U.S. We thoughtfully determine and design offers based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
