Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is looking for an Assistant General Manager for a Burger King location in Lexington, South Carolina. The Assistant Manager will lead operations focusing on profitability, guest service, and team development, while supporting the Restaurant General Manager.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of P&L management, 1-2 years of quick service experience, strong leadership skills, and availability for flexible scheduling. Join us and contribute to an exciting growth phase!

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.

• Maintains inventory.
• Keeps operational standards and procedures.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment.
• Ensures restaurant follows all cash control and security procedures.
• Interact positively with guests and co-workers.
• Motivates team members to exceed guest expectations.
• Provides coaching and feedback to team.
• Directs team toward efficient and accurate preparation of products.
• Ensures restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Leader when necessary.
