Douglas Dynamics is seeking a Profile Specialist to oversee laser and profiling operations in our Michigan facility. You will program, maintain, and troubleshoot metal cutting equipment, ensuring safe, high‑quality production and on‑time delivery.
You’ll collaborate with engineering on new designs, oversee preventive maintenance, and train operators while supporting continuous improvement and 5S organization across the production area.

We are seeking a Profile Specialist to join our team and help drive our continued success. This role plays an important part in supporting our customers, strengthening our business, and contributing to the long-term growth of Douglas Dynamics.
To oversee, operate, program, maintain and trouble‑shoot metal cutting operations in all phases of production. Responsible for the operation, programming, maintenance, and optimization of laser and profiling equipment. Ensures efficient production through proper machine setup, nesting, and troubleshooting while maintaining quality and safety standards. Partners with engineering on new product implementation and ECNs, oversees preventive maintenance to maximize uptime, and trains operators on equipment and procedures. Supports production as needed, including hands‑on operation, reporting performance metrics, and maintaining 5S organization.
