Position Description:

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Louisville has a mission to serve as the comprehensive Orthopedic Center of Excellence for the region, improving human mobility and function through patient care, innovation, and education. Our mission is directly reflected in our expectations of each physician in three main sections Service, Teaching, and Research.

Requirements:

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • Specialty training in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching orthopedic surgery to students, residents, and fellows
  • Scholarly activity in orthopedic surgery
  • Holds or qualifies for licensure to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
