The Department of Surgery in the School of Medicine, division of Surgical Oncology is seeking a full-time academic breast surgical oncologist to join four full time breast surgeons in the Division as a faculty member in either the Professor In-Residence Series, Professor of Clinical 'X' Series, or Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor ranks.
Candidates must have completed a fellowship in breast surgery or surgical oncology.
Demonstrated expertise in clinical and translational research, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary collaborations.
The successful candidate should have an established track record of high quality and collaborative research. Experience in Surgical Oncology is required. Experience in delivering patient care within an academic clinical setting and having demonstrated experience teaching residents and medical students is a plus.
Responsibilities include the full spectrum of breast surgical care, pre/post-surgical care, research in the field, and teaching surgical oncology fellows, general surgery residents and medical students.
