Position Summary
The AACSB -accredited Finance Department in the Leo J. Meehan School of Business at Stonehill College invites applicants for a Professor of Practice (Assistant or Associate) position beginning Fall 2025. In addition to joining the Finance Department, the incoming faculty would be a part of a diverse and inclusive faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise. The ideal candidate would have a willingness to support the department and the college through service. This position carries a non-tenure track status. This is a full-time on-campus position, and a qualified candidate must teach on the physical Stonehill College campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will deliver courses at the undergraduate level. The course load is 8 classes per academic year (i.e., 4 per semester) and may include:
We seek applicants with a strong interest in teaching and applied practice in the field of Finance. Candidates must, at a minimum, hold an MBA with a concentration in finance or an MS degree in finance. A Chartered Financial Analyst ( CFA ) designation is highly desirable. Extensive professional work experience, with progressively increasing responsibility in investment research and/or portfolio management, is preferred.
