Marymount University invites applications for a non tenure track Professor of Practice in Educational Leadership. The role focuses on teaching across UG, GRAD, and Doctoral levels, with a 4/4 load, and includes scholarship and service to the School and University.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. in educational leadership or related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years of teaching experience in higher education and strong record of scholarship.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to and experience with high quality teaching in an online, hybrid, and face to face format.
• Preferred: Experience with graduate/doctoral level teaching and advising; technology skills related to online teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and integrating the mission and core values of Marymount University and the School of Education.
• Assuming teaching responsibilities as assigned by the Director of the School and as outlined in the Marymount Faculty Handbook.
• Maintaining office hours at times which provide appropriate access to students.
• Advising assigned student advisees with program and/or licensure requirements and career information.
• Chairing dissertation committees, graduate teaching (face to face and online), professional service, and scholarship activities such as research, presentations, and participation with professional organizations.
