Job summary

USC Iovine and Young Academy seeks a scholar to develop and disseminate applied transdisciplinary curricula that blend artificial intelligence, machine learning, human-centered design, and business strategy. The role includes teaching undergrad and grad courses in machine learning, interactive AI systems, and data design.

The candidate should hold a PhD in CS/Engineering or a related field or a Master's with 5+ years of relevant experience, and demonstrate expertise in developing and deploying

Qualifications

• PhD or master's with substantial teaching/research in AI/ML and design.
• Strong background in developing, training and deploying AI/ML systems with a human-centered lens.
• Preference for cross-disciplinary experience across technology, design, business strategy and product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and disseminate applied transdisciplinary curricula integrating AI/ML with human-centered design and business strategy.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in machine learning, interactive AI systems and data design.
• Collaborate with USC faculty to create co-design methodologies and secure grants and partnerships.
