The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), within the Department of Pediatrics and Division of Neonatology, are seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Professor of Clinical Pediatrics.

Position Details

This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty role at the Professor level or higher, focused on clinical service and education. Responsibilities include contributing to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education, and providing clinical care in the 58-bed, level IV Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at CHLA, as well as in one of our four community-based NICUs.

The Fetal and Neonatal Institute includes the CHLA Division of Neonatal Medicine and the CHLA-USC Maternal-Fetal Center, one of the largest fetal diagnosis and intervention centers nationwide. The division comprises 24 faculty members.

Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification in Pediatrics
  • Board eligible or certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • At least 5 years of experience in a level IV NICU, including ECMO
  • Eligibility for a California medical license

  • Clinical experience in neonatology
  • Strong teaching skills
  • Experience in research, quality improvement, or outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

The annual salary range is $158,177 to $517,000, based on experience and qualifications.
