Job summary

University of Toledo Health and the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences invite applications for a full-time Geriatrician in the Department of Medicine.

The position emphasizes teaching medical students and residents, participation in scholarly activity with potential for intramural/extramural funding, and involvement in departmental administration and committees. Board certification or eligibility within 3 years is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics residency required.
• Board Certification required, or eligible to obtain within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students and residents across clerkship and postgraduate programs.
• Lead rounds, ambulatory clinics, didactics, and mentoring activities.
• Participate in departmental conferences (Morbi dity & Mortality, Grand Rounds, Journal Clubs).
• Engage in research and other scholarly activities with grant funding potential.
• Contribute to administrative and service duties within the department and teaching hospital.
