Job summary

The Scientific Edge invites applications for a senior leadership role steering the school toward becoming a premier design institution. The role requires leading top faculty, driving engagement, and building industry interfaces to elevate reputation and student quality.

You will work closely with the senior leadership to set benchmarks, monitor curriculum trends, and implement long-term processes to ensure institutional growth and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. from a reputed institute is required.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 5 years at Associate Professor level or 13 years overall in teaching/research/industry.
• Flair for management and leadership is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Lead and contribute in establishing the school as a formidable brand and Premier Design School in the country.
• Lead and develop the team of outstanding faculty members with high engagement to build a reputed institution.
• Drive networking with industry and create platforms for industry interface on a fortnightly basis.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to set benchmarks for student selection and batch quality.
• Monitor curriculum design and pedagogy trends to stay ahead of the curve.
• Design systems and processes with the senior team for long-term success of the institution.
• Design KPIs/KRAs for evaluating faculty and staff performance to drive productivity.
• Perform other duties as required by the school; responsibilities may evolve with the organization.

Desired Profile

• Ph.D. from a reputed institute (preferably).
• Mimimum 10 years of teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which atleast 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or minimum of 13 years exeperince in teaching and/or Research and/or Industry.
• Flair for Maangement and leadership is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
• Should possess communication skills (Both Written & Spoken English).
• Adequate research background.
• Should be willing to stay on the campus (off 90 Kms from Hyderabad).

Qualification

• Ph.D Degree or significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D degree; with First Class at Bachelors & Masters Degree in the appropriate program
