It provides interdisciplinary training for the next generation of biomedical scientists and professionals and is ranked among the very best in the nation for scholarly research activities.
The Institute for Biomedical Sciences invites applications for a tenure‑track faculty position at the Professor level to begin in August 2025. The position is open to candidates with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science or a related discipline who have an exceptional record of achievement in biomedical research, a commitment to biomedical science education, and a strong record of scholarly activity including outstanding external federal funding. Candidates must provide evidence of a successful, internationally recognized research program and of excellence in innovative scholarly research, including student success activities. The role will be supported by competitive start‑up packages and excellent laboratory space. Outstanding candidates may be nominated as Georgia Research Alliance Distinguished Investigators, who are expected to engage in translational and/or economic development efforts in their field.
Work Hours: May require non‑standard hours including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend, or other campus locations.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
