Young Automotive Group is hiring a Professional Tint & Stone Shield Installer in Missoula, MT. You will install LLumar Stone Shield PPF and window tint on high-end vehicles, ensuring precise fit and finish.

We value meticulous workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple multi-day projects while maintaining top-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Automotive PPF and/or window tint installation experience; strong hobbyist experience may also be considered.
• Able to work in a controlled installation environment with attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Familiarity with LLumar Stone Shield, PPF, and window tint products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and prepare surfaces for PPF and tint installations.
• Install LLumar Stone Shield PPF on partial-front, full-front, or full-vehicle packages.
• Apply, wrap, seal, and heat-finish film for seamless results; perform final quality inspections.
• Install various window tint types (dyed, carbon, ceramic, IR-rejecting) to meet legal requirements.
• Maintain shop area, inventory, and calibration of VLT/photometer equipment.

Responsibilities:

PPF Installation

• Inspect vehicles and prepare surfaces before installation.
• Perform decontamination, clay bar treatment, and light paint correction as needed.
• Install LLumar Stone Shield PPF on partial-front, full-front, and full-vehicle packages.
• Apply, wrap, seal, and heat-finish film for clean, seamless results.
• Complete final quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
• Provide customers with PPF care and cure-time instructions.

Window Tint

• Install dyed, carbon, ceramic, and IR-rejecting window tint.
• Complete full-vehicle, front-window, and eyebrow/windshield strip applications.
• Perform one-piece back glass installations when needed.
• Ensure all tint meets Montana legal VLT requirements.
• Process applicable manufacturer warranties for premium films.
• Specialty Services
• Perform windshield chip repairs as volume allows.
• Maintain and calibrate the shop’s VLT/photometer equipment.

Shop & Quality Standards

• Keep the installation area clean, organized, and dust-controlled.
• Maintain the heated installation bay and equipment for proper film adhesion and curing.
• Manage PPF and tint inventory and materials.
• Document completed work and billing in Tekion or the dealership DMS.
• Communicate accurate installation timelines for scheduling.
• Properly manage multi-day PPF projects, including full-vehicle installations.
• Maintain high-quality craftsmanship and customer service.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

Automotive PPF and/or window tint installation experience; strong hobbyist experience may also be considered.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Knowledge of PPF, stone shield, and window tint products.
• Comfortable working in a controlled installation environment.
• Experience using tools such as heat guns, squeegees, and cutting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and productivity.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move materials and tools as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with full, full-front, and partial-front vehicle PPF.
• Ceramic and IR-rejecting window tint experience.
• One-piece back glass tint installation experience.
• Experience with film cutting plotters or pre-cut pattern software.
• Knowledge of Montana window tint laws.
• Windshield chip repair experience or willingness to train.
• Experience with Tekion or another dealership DMS.
