University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a full-time Professional Staff Nurse, OP to join their OB/GYN Associates of Pittsburgh office at Magee Women's Hospital!
The Professional Staff Nurse plays an important role as a member of the care delivery team. This position supports clinical staff and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and their families to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
This position works 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, during daylight hours, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. It offers an opportunity for hybrid work from home after training. Previous OB/GYN nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in quality improvement efforts, identify opportunities, and support patient satisfaction and clinical care improvements
- Establish positive relationships with staff, physicians, and patients; handle multiple priorities and specialized equipment; exercise good clinical judgment
- Teach patients and families, support development of staff and students, and foster an environment of open dialogue and continuous improvement
- Develop patient care plans involving patients as partners, triage and coordinate care, and assist physicians in assessments and education
