Job description

University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a full-time Professional Staff Nurse, OP to join their Midwives at Magee office at Magee Women's Hospital!

The Midwives at Magee office is a small, all-female team of certified nurse midwives serving a large and diverse patient population. Our midwives offer a wide range of care, including prenatal care, gynecologic care, family planning, and annual physicals.

The Professional Staff Nurse is responsible for triaging patient phone calls and messages, coordinating patient care, and working closely with our certified nurse midwives. Nurses are expected to handle calls from ultrasound departments and pharmacies, relay results to patients, and provide patient instructions.

This position will work 4 10-hour shifts, with the opportunity to work from home, dependent on staffing needs. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 4:30pm, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Previous nursing experience is preferred but not required.
