Nesco Resource is assisting a major financial client with a Compliance Risk Management & Analytics Consultant role in New York. This hybrid contract position requires collaboration with compliance, risk, and technology teams to enhance enterprise risk methodologies and leadership reporting.

The role emphasizes data management, MIS, trend analysis, and delivering high-quality presentations for management and regulators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Regulatory Compliance in financial services.
• Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel; Power BI.
• Experience supporting cross-functional compliance initiatives, regulatory mapping, and system implementations.
• Excellent presentation and reporting for senior management and regulators.

Responsibilities

A major financial client of ours has a need for a Compliance Risk Management & Analytics Consultant. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office. This is a contract opportunity.

Duties:

• Collaborate directly with compliance, risk, and technology stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement. Design and implement strategic solutions that drive business value, with a focus on compliance and enterprise-wide risk assessment methodologies, control design, and executive/Board-level risk reporting.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, including data and MIS (Management Information Systems) collection, trend and risk analysis, and the preparation of high‑quality presentations and reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Support the Compliance department on cross‑functional (transversal) projects, including platform training, issue management, and regulatory mapping. Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, implement technical solutions, and help execute continuous enhancements to the compliance program.

Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, Enterprise or Compliance Risk Management in the financial services sector
• Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage data and translate metrics into actionable trends. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI is required.
• Project Delivery: Demonstrated experience supporting cross‑functional compliance initiatives, regulatory mapping, and system implementations.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and reporting skills, with experience preparing materials for senior management and regulatory regulators
