Job summary

Phyton Talent Advisors is seeking a senior regulatory compliance and risk management professional in New York to partner with Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams. The role focuses on enhancing enterprise risk methodologies, control design, and executive reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong data analysis skills, and expert use of Excel and Power BI. Daily work includes cross-functional collaboration and delivering board-ready dashboards and presentations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, or Compliance Risk Management within the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data and translate metrics into meaningful trends and actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience supporting cross-functional compliance initiatives, regulatory mapping, and system implementations.
• Strong project delivery and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience preparing presentations and reports for senior management, Board members, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Compliance, Risk, and Technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancement and develop strategic solutions that deliver business value.
• Support the development and enhancement of compliance and enterprise-wide risk assessment methodologies, control design, and executive- and Board-level risk reporting.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including data and MIS collection, trend analysis, and risk analysis.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, dashboards, and reports for senior management, the Board, and regulatory bodies.
• Support the Compliance department on cross-functional initiatives involving platform training, issue management, and regulatory mapping.
• Coordinate with diverse business and technology stakeholders to implement technical solutions.
• Help drive continuous improvements and enhancements across the compliance program.
