NCR Atleos, headquartered in Atlanta, offers a Global Internship Program in Professional Services. As an Intern, you will assist with the administration and coordination of customer software refresh activities within our Evergreen programs, gaining exposure to delivery, documentation, and customer-facing practices that support software delivery.

You will document requirements, manage admin records, and help streamline processes to improve consultant efficiency while learning enterprise systems

• Coordinate with internal teams to track progress and ensure timely execution of refresh activities.
• Document process improvements and key learnings for scalability.
• Assist consultants by reducing non-billable admin work.

Professional Services Consultant Intern – Overview

As a Professional Services Consultant Intern at NCR Atleos, you will support the administration and coordination of customer software refresh activities within our Software Evergreen and Enhanced Evergreen program. This role provides hands‑on exposure to professional services delivery, customer engagement, requirements gathering, documentation, and operational support for a portfolio of approximately 300 customers. Interns will help reduce non‑billable administrative work for technical consultants while gaining experience in the systems, processes, and customer‑facing practices that support successful software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support coordination of customer gold image refresh activities as part of the Software Evergreen and Enhanced Evergreen program.
• Assist Technical Consultants by gathering, organizing, and documenting customer requirements related to technology stacks, operating system updates, workflow changes, and configuration needs.
• Maintain and update Application Configuration Documents to ensure accurate and current customer records.
• Manage related program information and administrative records in Quick Base with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Coordinate with internal Professional Services, delivery, and support teams to track progress, follow up on open items, and support timely execution of customer refresh activities.
• Help streamline administrative processes to reduce non‑billable work and improve consultant efficiency.
• Document process improvements, project outcomes, and key learnings to support future program scalability and intern onboarding.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Interest in professional services, software delivery, customer success, or technology consulting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with Quick Base or similar business applications is a plus.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly while working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency.
