Professional Services Category & Sourcing Lead, VP (Finance)

What we are looking for:

The VP, Professional Services Category & Sourcing Lead is a key role within State Street's Global Professional Services Team, focusing on sourcing and category management. The role requires expertise in end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and category strategy development, primarily for Consulting, Marketing, HR, and Legal categories. The candidate will report to the Global Head of Professional Services Procurement and be part of the Global Procurement Services (GPS) team.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading sourcing activities, including contract review, negotiations, RFx management, and supporting cost savings initiatives.
• Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Developing and executing multi-year category strategies, analyzing spend, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Driving strategic RFPs, onboarding new suppliers, and managing supplier relationships.
• Supporting talent development within the team and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in global professional services procurement, including consulting, marketing, HR, and legal.
• BA/BS degree in business, finance, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $182,500 annually, depending on location and experience.
