Our Team is Kind of a Big Deal!

UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Professional Sales Person to join our family. As a Team Partner in the Sales Department, you will develop new business for UniFirst First Aid retail marketing through high-level selling skills. We offer various shifts, with a standard 5-day work week and two days off. We have an immediate opening and provide on-the-job training.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Sell and promote First Aid products to new accounts with 75+ employees or multiple locations.
  2. Develop new business and expand existing accounts, focusing on first aid, facility services, and safety products.
  3. Meet customer needs with products that ensure a safe, pleasant, and productive workplace.
  4. Use tools like Lead 411 to grow your prospect list.
  5. Organize and implement a work plan to maximize sales and minimize travel time.
  6. Maintain a consistent call average aligned with company goals.
  7. Set appointments, make cold calls, and seek referrals to grow your customer base.
  8. Participate in sales meetings and execute the strategies discussed.
  9. Submit work orders, paperwork, and expense reports accurately and timely.
  10. Maintain accurate records of prospects and accounts.
  11. Communicate effectively with sales management about new accounts and market conditions.
  12. Stay informed about pricing changes and competitive offerings.
  13. Participate in promotional activities and ensure vehicle maintenance.
  14. Adhere to company policies and stay updated on industry trends.
  15. Share market and product insights with team members.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Auto insurance meeting UniFirst standards if using personal vehicle for business.
  • At least two years of B2B sales experience.
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills.
  • Knowledgeable in sales techniques and customer engagement.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
