Shores Animal Hospital is seeking an energetic professional to join our fast-paced team. We are a small animal practice with a modern, 7,000+ square foot hospital equipped with a surgical suite, digital radiology, dental radiology, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, and in-house diagnostic laboratory. We offer private suites for many services to ensure a less stressful experience for our patients.

Pet Groomer Position

Our pet groomers provide high-quality grooming services for dogs and cats. The role involves individual work and teamwork with veterinary staff.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with grooming instruments, including shears and dryers
• Ability to perform grooming services according to client instructions
• Comfort working with nervous dogs to create positive experiences
• Positive attitude towards pets and owners; comfortable with all breeds
• Customer service skills to build trust and handle difficult situations tactfully
• High standards of cleanliness and organization
• Skills in nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression
• Ability to accept and incorporate client feedback
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods
• Minimum of 2 years pet grooming experience
• 5+ years professional grooming experience preferred
• References required
