You’ll follow the manager's work orders and customer requests to safely load, transport, and unload a variety of items for our residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities: • Wrap furniture in protective material • Lift a variety of fragile, large, and heavy items without damaging them • Review work orders and communicate with client on moving preferences • Arrange the moving truck with items that need to be moved • Verify no items are missing with client and team members before leaving • Lift and transport heavy items repeatedly without damaging them. • Ability to pad and wrap furniture. • Be customer-focused on every job. • Enjoy being a part of a team. • Ability to follow company operational and safety procedures. • Professional attitude and communication with all customers and teammates. • Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly (100+ lbs) • Ability to climb stairs, maintain balance, and walk long distances while carrying items. Qualifications: • Applicant should be collaborative, reliable, and have excellent customer service and communication skills • Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen. • Must have reliable transportation. • Must be eligible to work in the United States. • General labor experience is preferred, but not required (Move Indy will provide paid training). • High School Diploma or Equivalent. • Must be 18+. Compensation: $17 - $20 hourly
