The Professional Learning Facilitator will coach and support grades 3-12 teachers of English language arts who are implementing Imagine Learning Guidebooks. They are experts in the Imagine Learning Guidebooks curriculum and professional learning design and delivery. They will assist in the coordination of on-site professional learning sessions, learning walks, teacher coaching, and support for school administrators, adjusting sessions to fit the needs of the participants.

Position Information: This is a regular, part-time hourly position, reporting to the Professional Learning Solutions Director.

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $39.27 and $50.00 per hour. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote. To be considered for this role, you must be residing in the state of Louisiana.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with the Imagine Learning Professional Learning Design team to build and/ or customize session content to fit the needs of the participants.
  • Attend routine district meetings with the district team to review data, updates, successes, challenges, etc. and be prepared to discuss ongoing professional learning services and follow-up with the schools identified during the meeting.
  • Schedule full-day sessions in one school or two-three site visits a day, depending on the type of workshop or targeted support sessions conducted. Schedule visits in conjunction with school planning meetings and ensure visibility to all team members (Customer Success, Sales, Professional Learning).
  • Work onsite in schools or the district office at a minimum of 3 days a week, including designated Saturday PL events.
  • Analyze data and mid/end of year reports to support schools.
  • Meetings to review mid/end of year data with schools or Local Districts should be in person.
  • Virtual attendance at ITS or data review meetings requires prior Professional Learning Solutions Manager approval.
  • Provide detailed delivery notes after every session. Delivery notes are housed in Google, Salesforce, NetSuite or Smartsheet depending on the project.
  • Follow up each site visit with an email outlining accomplishments, suggestions, goals, and objectives for the school/teachers, and the next check-in date. Send the follow-up email to the school contact person, Account Manager, Account Executives, and Professional Learning Solutions Manager.
  • Maintain an updated calendar so that Account Executives and the Professional Learning Solutions Manager are aware of site visits.
  • Participate in team check-in meetings, providing direction and leadership.
  • Use electronic sign-in sheets for each session.
  • Administer a participant survey after every session.
  • Check in with administrators before and after each session.
  • Deliver engaging, meaningful workshops and training that meet the identified needs of the educators.
  • Schedule time following training to debrief with the Professional Learning Solutions Manager when requested
  • Other duties as required.


Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (graduate degree strongly preferred) and at least 4 years of experience in K-12 classroom teaching and instructional coaching, and/or mentoring educators; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience teaching Guidebooks.
  • Experience with blended and/or online learning (5 or more years is preferred).
  • Current or past teaching certification in ELA is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering professional development, training, or consulting services in educational environments.
  • Strong curriculum and instruction experience, including working with and influencing key decision-makers in educational settings.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle demanding timeframes and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High degree of motivation with exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality, results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online video chat, and database software.
  • Ability to provide a current Fingerprint Clearance Card or proof of application within 7 days (upon hire).
