Job summary

Sambatek, LLC seeks a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) for our Raleigh, NC office to lead survey production, project coordination, and quality control. You will oversee ALTA/NSPS surveys and boundary/topographic deliverables, collaborating with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure precision and timely results.

The role emphasizes in-office survey production with mentorship for team members, continuing to advance surveying standards and customer satisfaction while managing multiple

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
• Experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of boundary surveying principles, legal descriptions, easements, title documents, and property research.
• Experience reviewing deeds, plats, title commitments, and other land records.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or survey-related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee professional land surveying activities, with a primary focus on commercial projects and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
• Review survey data, field information, deeds, plats, title commitments, easements, and other relevant documents to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Prepare, review, and certify ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and other survey deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and quality control for survey projects and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal project teams to support successful project delivery.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, title companies, and other project stakeholders regarding survey scope and deliverables.
• Interpret and apply applicable surveying standards, regulations, and client requirements.
