Job summary

Compass Group USA ESFM is seeking a janitor at Smith and Nephew in Memphis, TN to keep facilities clean and orderly. Assignments include heavy cleaning tasks, trash disposal, and surface sanitizing, with shifts ranging 7:00 am–3:30 pm, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, or 11:00 pm–7:30 am. 1–2 years of janitorial experience required.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of janitorial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly; performs heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, walls, and glass.
• Cleans assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces following procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning; places items back in correct placement.
• Acts in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines; completes tasks assigned by supervisor.
