Always Best Care Glenview & The North Shore is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our award-winning team in Glenview, Des Plaines, Niles, Highland Park and surrounding NorthShore communities.

As a caregiver you’ll provide care and support for seniors, assist with daily tasks, transportation, personal care, and help maintain independence. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, paid training, health benefits, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional caregiving experience (home care agency, facility, or similar environment).
• English proficiency and clear communication skills.
• Two professional references (supervisor or co-worker).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• TB test is preferred, not required.
• Valid driver’s license and current car insurance preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing care and support for seniors.
• Assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
• Offering transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
• Monitoring health and wellness, reporting changes to supervisors.
• Offering emotional support and encouragement for maintaining independence.
• Keeping clients engaged through activities and conversation.
• Following care plans and safety protocols.
