JLL is seeking a Facilities Manager to serve as the host in the office, ensuring seamless service delivery and a welcoming experience for customers and guests at our Chicago site. You will lead a team, manage daily processes, and coordinate reception, hospitality, and mail services while maintaining compliance and high standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of related experience with strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. On-site in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years prior experience in hospitality, tourism, events operations property management, or related profession.
• 2 years prior experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and work collaboratively with customer contacts.
• Recruit, train, coach and hold your teams accountable.
• Supervise daily processes to completion.
• Ensure reception, hospitality and mail services are delivered within SLA's and compliant with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Provide back-up coverage for all services when necessary.
• Manage team member time, travel and overtime costs.
• Handle inquiries and issues tactfully and promptly.
• Develop processes and procedures across the account.
• Own projects end to end from tasks to on-time completion.
• Conduct audits to ensure quality expectations are met.
• Monitor facility related work orders.

A Facilities Manager is the host in the office for customers and guests - the dedicated, trusted advisor who can help with accessing site amenities, placing a work request, assistance with conference rooms and a variety of other items that enhance the experience.

The Facilities Manager anticipates needs, paying close attention to the questions and asks that customers most often present so that they support their requests and needs.

The Facilities Manager helps the workplace run seamlessly so customers and guests are happy, feel welcome, and have an enhanced experience, which allows customers to focus their time on their work instead of on administrative issues. This individual ensures that a seamless consistent level of service is provided at every user touchpoint.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Qualifications

Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years prior experience in hospitality, tourism, events operations property management, or related profession
• 2 years prior experience leading a team

Expected compensation for this position:

52,000.00 - 55,000.00 USD per year

Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
